W. Scott Hoge, Ph. D. is an Instructor of Radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. His research interest is in system modeling with emphasis on the application of adaptive filters, inverse problems, and computationally efficient algorithm implementations for biomedical imaging applications.

He is currently working on joint projects with members of the FNL to develop echo planar imaging (EPI) pulse sequences suitable for imaging deep-brain structures with high image quality, minimal artifacts, high temporal resolution, and low latency. The implementation of these applications draws from the NC-IGT Fast Imaging Library which Dr. Hoge co-wrote with Dr. Bruno Madore.
