Swathi Iyer works as a Programmer/ Analyst at Functional Neuroimaging Lab (FNL) at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She obtained her B. E. from Gujarat University, India and M.S. from University of Texas in Biomedical Engineering. Her master’s work focused on Bioinstrumentation and Signal Processing.

After her Master’s, Swathi worked as a Research Associate at Oregon Health and Science university for 2 years. Her work involved motion censoring and analyzing fMRI data involving kids with ADHD and Autism.

At Brigham and Women’s Hospital, her work involves collecting, processing and analyzing fMRI data for several projects within the FNL. She also helps in the maintenance and trouble shooting of the stimulus delivery and response recording device for fMRI experiments. Along with that she is also involved in training clinicians, researchers and MRI Technologist about the usage of the fMRI hardware and software and in the production of associated documents with the standard of operation.
